Roof Access Hatches

The Portals Plus Roof Access Hatches are compatible with all types of roof systems and provide convenient, weathertight access to the roof. Covers open easily to a full 90°, assisted by a torsion spring, and remain open with an automatic hold-open arm. The standard roof access hatch provides a virtually unobstructed opening- only the narrow hold-open arm is tucked into one corner of the frame. When closed, the roof hatches are sealed with a heavy, mechanically applied weather seal to provide a barrier to weather and drafts. Latches with both inside and outside handles tightly secure the hatches closed. For security, a standard padlock hasp is provided at the interior latch. Hatches are available in prime-painted galvanized steel and mill-finish aluminum. Covers and curbs are fully insulated.
