Milcor sidewalk doors
provide a safe covered opening for access to equipment or
services located under sidewalks or for passage of personnel and
materials from basement areas.
Sidewalk doors can also
be used as interior doors in areas where drainage is required.
Recessed frames serve as continuous gutters to divert water to
interior drain outlets.
Milcor Models GA and GD
are designed to support a uniformly distributed load of 300 psf.
H-20 loading is also available for heavier load capacity
requirements.
Covers are mounted to
stainless steel hinges equipped with zinc-plated stop chain and
a rigid hold-open arm on each leaf.
Single-Leaf Covers are
equipped with automatic snap latch fixed inside and removable
outside handles.
Double-Leaf Covers
are fixed with a throw bolt on the inactive leaf and a latching
mechanism fixed inside with removable outside handles on the
active leaf.
Cover hinges bolted from
the inside for easy maintenance.
Torsion spring mounted on
frame on the inside to prevent freezing.
